I have been having a problem with the computer I'm using were it keeps freezing (mouse works, however nothing else does). Usually to get out of it I have to use REISUB signal for a forced reboot. This only used to happen once in a while, but was still annoying. Tried a new video card, new motherboard... neither helped. (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – This may (or may not) duplicate yester64's post but I'm trying to learn html and I've been going crazy with the <basefont /> tag. KompoZer, Opera, and Firefox all ignore it. However, any <font /> tag I use works with no problems What's really maddening is that I copied the file to the windows side and IE works wonderfully with the same file although Firefox still ignores it!!! http://ubuntuforums.org – I use a DSL Connection with DHCP enabled. I have used windows 7 before but did not encounter any problem. Now, when I try to browse a specific site (e.g. forum.projanmo.com), I only get the waiting for.... message on the status bar. I have used Firefox, Opera, Chrome but none of them worked. While Opera widgets can be run as stand alone applications, there is a bit of fiddling you need to do to get them to start up when you boot into Linux.
