[ubuntu] OpenVPN installed on a VPS. Client can connect to OpenVPN server, but no internet.view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I recently setup a cheap VPS for the sole intention of using it as a VPN server so I can access geo restricted content. I used a script to setup OpenVPN server on the VPS and retrieved the keys for use on my client Win 7 OpenVPN. On my Win 7 client, I can connect to the VPN, but I can't use the internet. I'm a novice when it comes to networking and my needs are quite basic. Here's my log from (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Can't open OpenVPN port 1194view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi! I was hoping that someone here could help me. So, I've installed and configured OpenVPN on Ubuntu server 10.04, but I can't connect to it. When i try connecting from another ubuntu machine it's "connection attempt timed out" and i can't seem to fix it. I think the problem is that port 1194 (which i've configured openvpn to use) isn't open. I've created iptables rules, but no luck. (HowTos)

[all variants] OpenVPN woesview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all, I have OpenVPN set up on my server at home to allow me into my home network when I'm away from home. When I set it up, I tested it using my friend's wifi so I know it works on a local geographic scale. Now I'm away from home, the TLS handshake fails to complete within 60 seconds. I assume it's timing out, as I can tracepath to the server on port 1194 successfully. (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Don't know how stupid the title sounds but it's all I could squeeze out. So I'm having an ubuntu box with 10 external ip addresses on my eth0. I have installed openVPN to allow some of my "road warriors" to connect to it while traveling (tutorial used: http://www.ossramblings.com/configur...n_ubuntu_hardy). (HowTos)

This network has a 2 mbit internet connection with static ip which should be used to access the openvpn server. (HowTos)
