Installing Linux Mint over Ubuntuview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I'm am new to Linux, but I really want to get into it. I recently downloaded Ubuntu, with Windows Vista dual booting. I am fed up because Ubuntu won't work with my Broadcom BCM4312 Network Connector. I have decided that I am going to install Linux Mint inplace of Ubuntu. The only thing I am worried about is: Will Mint give me the option of which partiton to put it on? (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hey, Just installed Ubuntu 10.4 and unfortunately it installed the driver for the very poor, built in wireless card that came with the pc. On 9.10 I used a wireless usb dongle to connect to the network which worked great. The built in wireless card is getting preference however and it keeps dropping the connection and I cant even open a webpage. (HowTos)
