Cannot download packages with aptview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I have a new installation of Ubuntu 9.10 karmic, but apt-get update gives error messages "Failed to fetch....; Could not resolve..." for all the packages in the sources.list file. The computer is talking to the network and the webserver is working. I can ping external websites. Is there a setting that must be changed to make downloads function? (HowTos)

On my 10.04 system I used GNOME Bluetooth to setup a new device and once paired, it remembered this paring and when connecting from Network Manager, no passkey was required. Now on 10.10, after I have setup the device using GNOME Bluetooth, which requires a passkey and pairs the devices. (HowTos)

Crunchbang convert!view story
