http://serverfault.com – I'm trying to configure a Juniper SSG5 for VPN. So far I'd say I'm lost lost lost. The server (just one for now) is a dedicated host at a hosting company. I have a block of 8 public IPs (/29), the SSG5 has it's own IP (separate subnet from my 8 public IPs), and routes requests for the public IP's to the server. There are two interfaces defined on the SSG5. (HowTos)

Cannot connect to gateway when dhcp server down in windows AD?view story

http://serverfault.com – I have 2 AD servers conncted to a netgear fvx538. The servers have DNS and DHCP roles as usual, but are currently shutdown for power maintenance. Even so, I expect that if I connect a client laptop directly to the firewall, I will still be able to access its web interface and Internet. But this is not happening. Is this suppose to be the case that I need the AD servers up? (HowTos)

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Hey guys,I'm putting an old desktop back in service (Athlon 1800+/512M).  Has a built in wired NIC, but I'd much prefer wireless.  What card do you recommend?  Not looking for anything special, just to get this thing online without having to string cable across the house.I see a number of cheap USB cards, but my feeling is that there's little-to-no chance of one of th (HowTos)
