Using both a wifi router and ethernet with a cable modemview story

http://askubuntu.com – I get my internet from a cable modem thru Comcast. My house has a smart panel with 8 LAN ports, each going to the 8 rooms in my house. The cable modem links directly to an 8-port hub which allows 8 lines to feed each of the 8 ports in the house's smart panel... so every room has a live ethernet wall jack. In room #1, I have a netgear wifi router connected to the wall jack. (HowTos)

I have connected an ethernet cable between the two routers, but I can't figure out how to set them up so systems on one router can access my system on the other router. (Hardware)

Should we migrate our VPN from MSCHAP V2 to something else?view story

http://serverfault.com – We bought a new Firewall a couple months back, a Netgear UTM9S, and one of the features we enabled is the PPTP VPN to enable access to SQL, Web and File servers for remote users. But now, after reading this Ars Technica article on MSCHAP V2 being broken I am wondering should we worry about this and turn off PPTP and enable one of the other VPN options? (HowTos)
