I think it might be a hardware issue maybe something with overheating. It seems that it takes longer to freeze if I haven't used my laptop in a while as opposed to trying to reboot after a freeze, where it almost freezes instantly again. Any help would be great. Even with disabled Touchpad, synclient shows touchpad strokes, so it should be possible to intercept these strokes and use them for gestures. I have tried easystroke before, but it didn't seem to work with my touchpad at all, not even with an enabled one. (Hardware)
