The Spirit Of Coopetition Is Alive And Well In The Cloudview story

http://techcrunch.com –  Increasingly, companies that compete directly with another have been announcing major partnerships, and we saw a couple of good examples this week with Microsoft and Salesforce and IBM and SAP. Not coincidentally in my view, they both involved the cloud. That’s because companies may want to compete, but customers want their technology vendors to just get along. (IT news)

Old SQL installation mediaview story

http://serverfault.com – We have MSSQL Server 2008 R2 licenses. We have an Action Pack subscription, which provides us SQL 2014. But we just need the installation media for 2008 R2 so that we can install Reporting Services. We are not prepared today to urgently upgrade our MSSQL, so the download that Microsoft provides is not helpful. Is there any place to go for downloading older versions of MS software like this?
