I tried getting drivers for it i.e. madwifi-0.9.4-0.1.r2598.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm and tried installing but still no wlan. I'm really new to this and am not sure on how to go about it. Please assist. Is there an easy way of installing madwifi drivers in Fedora 17?view story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – Long time ago you could easily install madwifi drivers for atheros wireless cards as they were found in the livna (or RPM fusion?) repositories. Today I cannot find any guide or even mentions when googling it. Am I missing something? (HowTos)

Wireless: Ubiquity Networks SRC 300mWview story

http://www.backtrack-linux.org – Hi! http://www.ubnt.com/src - a bit old hardware, but still beats most new integrated wifis. Also can be used with yagi etc. The Ubiquity Network SRC 300 mW a/b/g cardbus card DOES work with BT 5R2, but there is a catch. The card uses a modified version of AR5213A chipset, which doesn't really make out with the new ath5k driver. (HowTos)

http://askubuntu.com – After I move more than 3 or four feet from the AP the connection drops. I can still see multiple networks I just can't connect to them. They all show strong signal strength. I have tried madwifi and a bunch of other fixes that I came across online to no avail. (HowTos)
