Loadind initial ramdisk problemview story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I am new to linux. I am using fedora f16 x86_64. I was using terminal from root and used yum to install some packages. I also wanted to reinstall the libjpeg package. I used yum erase libjpeg but deleted 300 other files/packages along with libjpeg. I then used yum install libjpeg. The yum history shows only 1 package installed and 300 erased. (HowTos)

Crashing!view story

http://crunchbang.org – My computer keeps crashing, the sort where no programs will start, and the load keeps on rising (3 and up).I recently changed the harddrive in my laptop, because I thought that might be the problem. But now, similar problems arise. The last thing I did before this occurred this time, was to experiment with my .bashrc for root and user. (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I just bought a new laptop and, I usually just wipe Windows off and install Linux but, a long time ago, I read about being able to get a refund for Windows if I refuse the EULA or something like that. Based on what I read, Microsoft could either give me the refund or tell me to return the laptop upon not accepting the EULA. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] SSH-RSA Keysview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I can create RSA keys that work for Ubuntu-Ubuntu or Mac-Ubuntu but when I use puttygen to create keys on windows, I can't get them to work. I have read several tutorials and know about converting the private key for use with putty and filezilla. The windows generated keys once catted into authorized_keys do not look exactly like those created on a linux based system. (Hardware)
