HTPC -- The Next Generationview story

http://hardforum.com – Howdy. Well its time to upgrade the old HTPC. Its worked ok but not great. I had tapped into the spare parts bin for that build and the overall performance of the system was just so-so. A few of the key parts (case, mobo, proc, ram, psu) resided in a hot-in-Summer and then freezing-in-Winter, dusty storage unit for almost two years. So I experience periodic BSDs and other related oddities. (Hardware)

Should I fix my partitions?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I had trouble installing a Windows / Ubuntu dual boot on my Dell Inspiron 5423. Ubuntu didn't like the Sata drive. I had a friend try to do it for me, but he also failed, and returned my computer with Windows on the Sata drive, and Ubuntu 14.04 on the HD. I've been using it a couple month. I don't want to reinstall, but I noticed that the partitions look strange. (Hardware)
