All around the school the kids use laptops that connect to a share based on what classroom the laptop came from. It works like this. Laptop # 32 in room 400 will connect to the 400 share folder on startup by mapping the drive with a script. This allows teachers to use their account and see what the students have been working on. I use it to keep a lot of documents (and pictures) on... I have kept it backed up via an external HD (Western Digital 1TB 2.5” drive). Recently, it quit being able to copy all the folders to the external drive. Then external drive appeared to become corrupted. (HowTos)

We can tether to our laptops , but when we try it to my my wifes android tablet it tethers but kicks us out of tether when you try to transfer data. Her tablet is on ICS, I was wondering if that coul be causing some kin of conflict. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (General)
