http://www.linuxquestions.org – Published at LXer: Here's some fun news: "Gartner Says Android to Become No. 2 Worldwide Mobile Operating System in 2010 and Challenge Symbian for No. 1 Position by 2014." I moved to a smart phone within the last year. In the past I hadn't really needed one. When I went somewhere I typically had my laptop with me, so I usually hid behind that. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Re: Gateway M-1617 Laptop WIFI Not Workingview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I recently bought a used Gateway M-1617 laptop and installed Ubuntu 10.04.1 on it and I haven't had any luck using Wifi. I did some research and haven't found anyone that has been able to solve this issue. I DID find out that the driver is a Marvell Topdog or something like that. My Ubuntu installation detects the driver, but it doesn't pick up any wireless networks. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Ubu 10.04 won't connect thru usb wireless adapterview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I managed to get my usb wireless-n adapter to work in Ubuntu 10.04. Unfortunately, Windows managed to hose the hard drive while I was configuring it so I had reformat and reinstall both WinXP and U10. The USB wireless-n works perfectly under WinXP but nothing happen under U10. The icon in the Panel shows spinning arrows indicating there's a connection but I can't actually get out. (HowTos)
