[kubuntu] Xrandr find out current scale factor usedview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I want to create a 'desktop zoom' for use with xfce using xrandr Normally I work with a scaled desktop: at start of session I do on my 1920x1080 laptop screen: xrandr --output LVDS1 --scale 1.3x1.3 --panning 2496x1404 giving me a slightly larger desktop. [all variants] Mouse Quits Working After Loginview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm having an issue in Kubuntu (also tried in Mint with Cinnamon and Arch with kde/kdm) where, upon login, I can move my (USB) mouse for about 5 seconds. After that, my mouse freezes and will not move; mouse buttons do not work either. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it does not even light up. I've tried other USB ports on the computer, which do not work either. (Hardware)

Losing network connectivityview story

http://www.kubuntuforums.net – Hello Kubuntu community, I was so impressed with Kubuntu Raring, that I just had to live on the bleeding edge and try out 13.10 (Saucy). It's fun to see it evolve into a stable version, and overall, I haven't had any major issues, but there is one recurring issue that is more than a little annoying. (HowTos)
