ASLR affected by entropy available on Linux?view story

http://stackoverflow.com – It is mentioned in the kernel source in random.c that get_random_int is "Similar to urandom but with the goal of minimal entropy pool depletion.". However, where (and how) does get_random_int interact with the entropy pool? Now, urandom actually calls extract_entropy_user, but I don't see anything similar to that in get_random_int. (HowTos)

How to find *why* I can't bind some keyboard shortcut (or which app took it)?view story

http://askubuntu.com – In short: is there (under Unity) any way to find out which application grabbed some global shortcut? I do not ask for "standard shortcuts" but for some way to get information about actual shortcuts (which app is actually keeping given key just now in my current config) Longer story: I have repeatable problems with managing keyboard shortcuts.
