[ubuntu] FSCK helpview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I've been having issues over almost 2 years now. It started after an upgrade to 10.10. I had later did a fresh install but it didn't fix my problems. Most often, my system crashes while using a Flash heavy site(FB games like Cityville or Millionaire City) and even playing online videos from really any site. THe system may slow quite a bit and then just crash. (Hardware)

What's with all the --force-ing?view story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – holytrousers wrote:Let's ask a fundamental question : when a project lays down philosophical foundations to generate 'expert' users, does the project itself benefit from such 'experienced' user community or is it so, that it actually slows down its initial thrust ?The expectation is for "competent", not expert, users; which suggests a somewhat lower bar. http://chakra-project.org – Some of you know that the Chakra team calls some team-meetings a few times a year.  2010 saw 2 of those, there were 3 in 2011.  Those were fairly closed meetings, since only users who subscribe to the chakra-dev mailing list knew about it.This time, we'd like to make sure all interested in such a discussion know about it.It will be held in the usually #chakra-meeting IRC channel, th (HowTos)

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Some of you might already know me, as I'm active in the IRC channel. Figured I should register here since I've put it off for so long. Installed Arch after that, and now my laptop runs Gentoo, desktop on #!. (HowTos)

How to use Pidgin to tweetview story

http://www.linuxandlife.com – Pidgin is a nice chatting client that is pre-installed in a lot of Linux distributions. Pidgin supports many chat platforms like yahoo, facebook, irc, AIM ... but unfortunately, the popular social network Twitter is not on this list. However, with the help of a plugin called pidgin-microblog, you can update and check twitter and some other social networks like Identi.ca, Status.net .. (Distributions)
