After installing lightdm to replace gdm, I can set my laptop to suspend when the lid is closed. However, when I resume by opening it and pressing the power button, it often wakes only briefly (a few seconds) and then suspends again. (HowTos)

The printer is HP laser printer 1020, which used to work with foo2jzs driver in my old (Fedora 14) set up. I have downloaded the latest version of foo2jzs and compiled it. After installation, the system does not send firmware code to the flash in the printer, as it used to earlier. (HowTos)

I have the bios boot order set to have the internal RAID 1 array as the first boot choice, then the CD drive as second, then 'Removable Devices' as third. During boot, the screen shows the E500 getting initialized. If I don't have the MSA50 connected, the boot screen then says '0 Logical Drives. (HowTos)

Once I rebooted, I can see only ordinary desktop without any cinnamon panels, screenlets, menu, hot corner(mint) and the theme was entirely changed to Old-Linux-style.
