Simple Scan says Unable to start scan, Xsane ditto plus Error during device I/O. Can I use the Live CD and expect to connect wireless?? (since I can't download/install the driver through the normal method). Or is it possilbe, while active in the Live session, to temporarily install the proprietary driver using Ubuntu's automated process? (Hardware)
