The installation was a success but the maximum screen resolution is 800 x 600 and I'm not able to increase it further. (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Ola! My recently bought NVidia 9600gt video card causes hangs during a booting of previously installed Ubuntu. Yes, I've removed elder drivers. The worst of all is that Ubuntu can't run with this video card from LiveCD too. I haven't try to install other OSes (like Windows) with the new video card, maybe they won't work too. (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, After following suggestions on other forums about downloading drivers from Canon Asia and then converting them from rpm to deb etc. I've got to the stage of installing my MP600 only to find it won't print on either configuration (usb or cnij_usb:/dev/usb/lp0) despite my best efforts at editing printers.conf etc. Anyone have any better luck?
