[ubuntu] Choosing between video cards - 7900 gs or 8600 gt?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm buying a computer off of my brother, and I was just wondering which video card is better in terms of performance. His computer has a nVidia GeForce 7900GS, whereas mine has a nVidia GeForce 8600GT. I looked at a site which compared video cards and they seemed very similar, and I was wondering which would be a better choice. Thanks for any input (Hardware)
