http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello there. I have an acer aspire 5730zg and since I've installed ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 my microphone and card reader doesn't work. I have tried to make it work on both of them but I couldn't. i tried typing on the console the following command: alsamixer I made sure that all the controls were on so I knew that I haven't muted the microphone. Now the issue is for some reason i'll appear to be still online even though i am not. Then about 5min or so into it, i'll look and try to go to a page such as google.com. As the page doesn't work but is just continually loading i know there's something wrong. (Hardware)
