I was using the default driver, and grandr had grayed out the "extend" option--I was stuck on "clone". Someone recommended trying the fglrx driver, so I installed it and rebooted. Red hat not displayed in boot optionsview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi EveryOne, I had a dual boot system with ubuntu and windows running fine, while using ububtu grub loader. Now i installed red hat on the same computer and mentioned to install grub in the first boot partition sector. Now while starting the the computer i see only the previous options to boot into eithre windows or ubuntu. I dont see any option for red hat. (HowTos)

Some weeks ago I built grub with a slackbuild-script, it was the new version of grub but it did not install properly. Since then I could only boot Slackware but not Gentoo. Today I tried to install grub from the Gentoo-partition (I chrooted to Gentoo). (HowTos)
