http://serverfault.com – I'm using cron tasks every 3 mins, the result is logged in my cron.log. (HowTos)
http://serverfault.com – I've got a large disk (500GB) but am deciding to free up space - got 249GB left, so that's 49.8% of the disk left, if my calculations are right. I'm planning on install of Adobe Photoshop and (possibly) graphic design apps, so have decided to free up some space. (HowTos)
http://serverfault.com – I use hotlink protection in Nginx and it is working very well! For some reason - and the reason for this question - it is not allowing visitors to my site using firefox to see any images, which they should. For IE, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, it works just fine. Images show up on my site but not if you try to hotlink. I checked Firefox on Win and on Mac and it happens in both places. (HowTos)
http://serverfault.com – I have a domain http://services.mydomain.com which has a secure login through a secure central provider (https://secure.mydomain.com) on a different server with proxypass. When I go to the login page I am redirected to https://secure.mydomain.com/services. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuforums.org – In Windows (ever since XP, at least, not by default in all programs) you can quickly jump back to the position from where you started dragging the scrollbar by moving the mouse (typically) to left past this certain threshold point or something. Well, a gif > 100 words. (Hardware)
http://serverfault.com – I have a apache server that sits in front of my glassfish server. mydomain.com goes directly to my static files on apache, than if you hit the subdomain forum.mydomain.com it goes to the glassfish webapp forum/ at 127.0.0.1:8080/forum/. This proxy seems to work it takes me to the web app but all of the images are missing! (HowTos)
http://serverfault.com – There is an old system which is needed to convert from apache to nginx, the following lines how to convert? Thank you. <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^download=true$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(.+\.(gif|jpg|bmp)) RewriteRule ^.+$ - [T=application/binary] #standard function to force download RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^do (HowTos)
http://serverfault.com – I'm trying to get a LNP [Linux Nginx Python] stack (is that even a thing? heh) going, but I'm having some difficulties. A lot of blog posts and documentation on doing this seems to revolve around using Upstart to manage the uWSGI process, which would be fine but I'm noticing that the packages installed with an init.d script and some config directories in /etc/uwsgi/{apps-enabled,apps-available}. (HowTos)
