workaround for geany high cpu usageview story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I like the Geany IDE but I've noticed it uses a large amount of CPU even sitting there idle. Hiding the Message pane (go to View -> uncheck "Show Message Window" ) brings the cpu usage back down to a reasonable amount (HowTos)

Crashing!view story

http://crunchbang.org – My computer keeps crashing, the sort where no programs will start, and the load keeps on rising (3 and up).I recently changed the harddrive in my laptop, because I thought that might be the problem. But now, similar problems arise. The last thing I did before this occurred this time, was to experiment with my .bashrc for root and user. (HowTos)

Docky and Geany V1.22view story

http://crunchbang.org – ..hmm, no replies. I guess its something peculiar to my install then. Anyway, no need for an IDE at the moment so Geany is removed. Still curious as to how opening Geany would kill Docky though.. (HowTos)

f18 - geany saves new text files as binaryview story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Using Geany in Fedora 18 (GNOME), when I create a text file and save it, the "Type" shown in Files is "Binary," and when I go back and open the file with either Geany of Gedit, I can't read the contents. If I use Geany to edit an existing text file, then save it, there's no problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? (HowTos)

Installed geany has no optionsview story

http://askubuntu.com – I'm new to geany IDE. I installed geany from ubuntu software centre, and the window has no options other than opening a new file. I can't file any preference, tools option too for configuring. I heard it is a full fledged IDE. Also, from the screenshots available from the software center, it seems my Geany installation is missing almost everything. (HowTos)

auto load templateview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all, I am trying to make a setup of using geany as my defualt compiler for arduino programing. One thing I think is annoying is having to start every program the same way, with: Code: void setup(){} void loop(){} what I want to do is write a start up script that can load a template with the basics of what i will need. How can i get that done? (Hardware)
