Firefox for Android - address bar overlaps content. Is there a solution?view story

http://stackoverflow.com – I am working on a web page, that has to be 100% high. I did it so, it works fine everywhere, except on Android Firefox. The problem is: When I open the page for first time, in landscape mode - the address bar overlaps the content. If I do orientation change - it gets OK in portrait mode, and when I go back to landscape mode - it's OK there too. (HowTos)

How to force applications to not start maximised in Awesome WM?view story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – How to reproduce: ssh -X user@host firefox (or some other X application). Maximise the window. Close the application. Open the application in Awesome WM (tried only locally, but should also work remotely). Result: The window is still maximised. Since I never use the maximise functionality in Awesome, and often use it in other window managers, I'd like to unset the maximisation whenever I open (HowTos)

Is it me or is Firefox slow as hell?view story

http://forums.anandtech.com – I'm a longtime loyal Firefox user here, and I've tried Chrome on a few occasions. I even use Chrome at work, but have never really liked it. But at the same time, Firefox is doing EVERYTHING to make me want to switch. - Google+ loads slow as hell? Loading a page for example on my 2008 MacBook Pro (with an SSD drive) takes 30 seconds. It locks up for a solid 30 seconds before loading the site. (Hardware)
