Need to login to Skype with a proxyview story

http://superuser.com – I'm in a boarding house as a student and my internet connection is established with a LAN cable. We were told to configure Firefox or IE with that specific proxy server (example 154.36.2.332) and port (example 6258). So far so good this is working. However Skype, or Spotify is not. Even when I manually insert the server name and port it is still not working. I suppose they blocked it. (HowTos)

Configure add-to-tranmission-daemon-action in firefox?view story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – How do I configure firefox such that a clicked bittorent link is automatically added to a transmission daemon that runs on a remote machine? The transmission daemon is available via ssh/transmission-remote-control port. I can easily instruct firefox to open a torrent file with a shell script of my choice but then firefox downloads the torrent file to /var/tmp and supplies the temporary file path (HowTos)

[ubuntu] highlight uncommon word?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I am learning a new language with Ubuntu. When I practise reading, usually I do a speed reading, guessing but not pausing on new words, and when I finish, come back to hunt these words. Marking them on the way is difficult, especially when I am studying movie subtitles, I cannot enjoy movie if I keep pausing it to mark new words. So I need a tool to highlight uncommon words in a text. (Hardware)
