[ubuntu] Download speed drops to zeroview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi there. Whenever I try to download anything, a few minutes later (3 or sometimes more), the download speed starts to drop very fast until it hits zero, and the download is killed. This happens on chrome, firefox, apt-get, etc. When I'm on windows this doesn't happen. So its a ubuntu problem. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] Changing font colours in Unity.view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello. I have some struggles with the current colour scheme/font colour schema in Unity. In certain scenarios, the letters are too bright for me to read. For instance, this is a screen shot from an empty textbox in Firefox: The text is too light a grey for me to be able to read it without squinting. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] Seemingly Google related Black Screen of Deathview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – So I upgraded my wife's old laptop from 12.04 to 14.04. So far so good! I noticed chrome was no longer working, so I decided to grab the .deb from Google's Chrome website using Firefox, black screen, I had to hard reset to get some visuals back. Thinking it was a coincidence I tried another couple of times, I got the same results. I installed Chrome from PPA and everything seemed to be fine. (Hardware)

Android incoming tcp packet to corresponding appview story

http://android.stackexchange.com – I'm trying to understand to which app belong some tcp packet. I'm able to intercet the packet using VPNService. For example if I'll get an outgoing packet I'm able too see where it's coming from (ip and port) and thanks to /proc/$pid/net/tcp6 I'm able to understand which app has sent that package. Unfortunately I'm unable to "reverse" with a packet coming from outside. (HowTos)

[all variants] Chrome refusing to sync: keeps asking for sync passphraseview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Morning, everybody. I appear to have a small problem with Chrome..! I run several of the 'buntu distros, and have Chrome installed on every one.....so the 'syncing' feature comes in handy. Every install of Chrome is up-to-date, so there's no problems there. I also run 'Slacko' Puppy Linux 5.7.1.....the current release. (Hardware)
