What's wrong with wireless in OpenSUSE?view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hello Everyone, My thread title sounds like a complaint, but it isn't. I just have a question for my own education. I just started using OpenSUSE on an old laptop. It seems that I have my graphical problems at least temporarily solved, but I continued to lose my wireless connection after an hour of use. (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – Can someone point me to a link or describe how certain packages such as glib, yast2, etc. are part of "Online update" i.e. new versions show up there, whereas certain packages are not (e.g. NVIDIA drivers). Is it a setting on the repository, the package, or does the new version need to be labelled specifically? (Distributions)

Successful Install on the ASUS Maximus II Formulaview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hello all, This is my first post. I just wanted to inform everybody about the successful installation on my rig. I am relatively new to Linux and wanted to try something other than Ubuntu. I tried Gentoo, but it took a very long time to get working and X would simply crash. Somebody told me about SuSe and I decided to give it a shot before going back to Ubuntu. (Distributions)
