HP Pavilion a762x install problemsview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Looking for assistance on my problem. I have installed various Linux OS's on various computers. I recently tried converting over an old pc, it is an HP Pavilion a762x desktop computer. It had Windows XP and a 32 bit system. I downloaded the 32 bit Ubuntu, created the startup disk on my 32 GB USB, and tried to install it as I have always done. (Hardware)

Centos & USB diskview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I just started using CentOS 6 three days ago. I'm baffled by a lot of things, but the most recent is this: I'm was able to plug 'n play my USB flash drive (original formatting, straight out of the package, and brand new, but with some files on it that I created in both OS's) in Windows Vista (Home, SP2, I'm on a dual boot PC) until a couple hours ago. Can't Get Cuda to Install on Ubuntu...view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I can't seem to install Cuda successfully on Ubuntu on my laptop. I need it in order to properly use Dax for "data analysis at the extreme". I've tried a lot of different things and done a lot of google searches on this, and nothing seems to really be working. I've included a summary below. It now looks like an issue building nvidia-331-uvm, but I've included all relevant info below. (HowTos)

Add space to partitionview story

http://askubuntu.com – I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server vm with esxi. I added an additional 20 GB to my thick provisioned lazy zero disk, but I'm not able to resize my current partition. I am booting from a gparted live iso. I would like to merge /dev/sda1 and unallocated, but I do not seem to get the option. Does anyone have any suggestions on increasing the size of /dev/sda1?
