Email this pagehttp://askubuntu.com – I did a fresh installation of XP SP3 on an IBM ThinkPad T40, 512 MB of RAM, Pentium M 1.5 GHz processor. I ran the wubi executable for 12.10 and let it download and unpack the image. When it said I needed to reboot the computer to complete the installation, I let Wubi restart it. During the reboot, it never came up to the boot menu and just booted into windows. (HowTos)

For example, if I've got a slow old drive and a big new drive, or a SSD and a spinning disk, I want to choose which one /home is on, vs /usr and /var. I had the F18 installer repartition and reformat everything and make a physical volume to occupy each disk. So far so good. (HowTos)

I have the bios boot order set to have the internal RAID 1 array as the first boot choice, then the CD drive as second, then 'Removable Devices' as third. During boot, the screen shows the E500 getting initialized. If I don't have the MSA50 connected, the boot screen then says '0 Logical Drives. (HowTos)

When we run fsck or e2fsck with the -y option and there are some serious file system problems, it silently unlinks any orphaned files to the lost+found. That's all fine and dandy when there's no big problems, normally no files need to be unlinked and fsck just runs and fixes t (Hardware)
