Wifi not working upon resume from suspendview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi. I am having a problem in that my wireless is not working after I resume from suspend. I'm not sure if the driver is unloaded, but even when I turn off the radio and turn it back on the wireless still doesn't work. In order to get it to work I have to restart the computer. So far I have tried to go through my loaded drivers and modprobe -r/modprobe them. (Hardware)

Progressview story

http://www.ubuntux.org – In the bad old days there was DOS where I could type commands for hours while the computer chuckled and said I know what you want to do but you can’t make me do it. Then a miracle, Point and Click, Plug and Play. (and the sport of Windows Bashing) I can use a computer !!!!!! Years pass and I try Ubuntu. Wonders, can’t install driver. (Distributions)

How to root Samsung Galaxy Ace II Xview story

http://android.stackexchange.com – I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II X smartphone, and for various reasons, would like to root it. It is running android version 4.0.4. How exactly do I root it? Should I download the necessary files, or make them myself? (I have no idea how to make them). I would also like to somehow have a way to undo the rooting if necessary, and have a backup of everything on my phone now. (HowTos)

Is it possible for Google to detect app updates that have not been delivered through Play Store?view story

http://android.stackexchange.com – I'm playing a game that is developed by a sub-division of Google. (Ingress/Niantic) Usually new versions of this game pushed out through staged roll-outs, which means if you are not one of the lucky ones you have to wait a while to get the new version with sometimes cool new features. Of course, the APK files for the new version could be found all over the internet on various sites. (HowTos)

Preamp/buffer for gaincloneview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Hi, I'm about to start building my own LM3886 gainclone, only a few parts are yet to arrive. I'll use two 19.4v 6.2A transformers, and two LT1084 or LT1584 for regulation. Sources will be mainly computer and phone and my doubt is if I'll need any kind of preamp/buffer and how to implement volume adjustment, I've ordered a few OPA827, BUF634 and OPA2134PA just in case. Any thoughts are welcome. (Embedded)

capacitive touch multi-swipe to singleview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Hi all. The title says it, but rather cryptically. Let me expound a bit... I have a guitar project, which has two momentary "physical" switches, which trigger an external unit for two different functions. These functions are essentially "use the next" or "use the previous". Graphical applications don't launch, and kickoff very laggy after installing packagesview story

https://www.kubuntuforums.net – I'm apparently having severe problems with (possibly?) KDE. Kickoff launcher is very laggy, it opens after a clicking it, but it takes around one minute to open. This itself would be workable, but the worse thing is that it is unable to launch any application. It is very fortunate that for some reason kde always loads same applications (firefox, kile, terminal...) that I had open when I shut down (HowTos)
