Printer stopped working after a power outage (ubuntu)view story

http://askubuntu.com – Attempting to fix my church's computer... Ubuntu 11.04 operating system.. hp 8600 printer. The printer was working perfect, until they had a power outage. When attempting to print they would get a cups error. I got the system past this issue...now when selecting print, the computer goes through entire print process, and window pops up saying print successful, however nothing went to the printer. (HowTos)

I can't open Facebook, Yahoo, Hotmail, Dailymotion and many other websites although many other websites just work fine and even I don't have any problem in downloading.
