http://www.ubuntuhcl.org This laptop does not work with ubuntu. The graphics adapter is not supported by any linux distro that i know of. the only way to get it to work is by using safe graphics mode. lucid lynx is said to have a fix, but compiz still does not work. (Hardware)

Titlebar problem after live upgrade - Gnome+Compizview story

http://forums.opensuse.org Hi. I've made live upgrade from OpenSuse 11.1 -> 11.2 (Gnome). I followed wiki and almost everything is fine. Problem is with the title bar when Compiz is on. The icons on title bar are wrong and the title is left justified (see image attached). It doesn't change if I choose different skin. When I disable Compiz - titlebar looks OK. (Distributions)

Compiz Commands Applet - where is it?view story

http://forums.opensuse.org I have several OpenSuSE laptops, all running 11.2. However, all loaded at different times and with slight differences in their repository setups. One of the systems has a very useful Compix applet found in Control-Panel->Compiz Settings Manager->(General) Commands. (Distributions)

IEGD drivers for Intel GMA 500 workingview story

http://forums.opensuse.org Hi, I made a kernel module package for opensuse 11.2, kernel 2.6.31-12 (latest update at time of writing). It supports opengl (glxgears has 2000 frames in 5 s), 2D is faster than by using vesa only. But compiz/kwin effects dont work. Open Arena works but is not as fast as under windows xp. I think its a xorg.conf issue. Any help appreciated. (Distributions)

Configure Compizview story

http://forums.opensuse.org I need to turn off the annoying Compiz feature that when my mouse hits the edge of a window, it suddenly shrinks the window and shows a bunch of other windows as well. This is very bothersome, requiring another mouse click to get back to my window. But I don't know what the feature is called and looking at the Compiz manager I don't see anything that looks like it's handling this feature. (Distributions)
