http://ubuntuforums.org – hi there all - i have a sony vaio sz3hp/b and it has a phisical switch for the wireless and bluetooth. the issue is that when ubuntu is started with the switch on both wireless and bluetooth are recognised and work perfectly but if i switch it on after ubuntu started than only the bluetooth is recognised - the wireless suggest the 'device is not ready' (Hardware)

First hard drive has 3 partitions: Win NTFS with Vista loaded on it Ubuntu 9.10 with ext4 A linux swap file. The 2nd hard drive is visible in windows but I can't find it in Places -> Computer. After installation the OS went through an auto update process which seemed to go okay. After that a window popped up saying that I could install two additional drivers, one for video and one for modem. I installed the video driver, then rebooted. (Hardware)
