How to find the active TCP and PIDs corresponding to them in Linux programming?view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi all, I am programming on Linux middleware so I need to get a list of all active TCP connections. Is there any API to get such information? I know I can find the connections in /proc/net/tcp, but how to find the PIDs corresponding to the connections? Apparently ps or netstat command is not an option since it is a middleware. Any help will be appreciated! Cheers Tete (HowTos)

Can't mount nfs4 directories with Kerberos auth on CentOS 5view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I have an nfs server running Solaris. It works fine and a large number of clients happily mount directories from it. But only almost all clients. All clients that have problem run CentOS (5.4 and 5.5). I've found one or two of each version that fail, but also a couple of each version that work. The mounting is done via autofs but that doesn't seem to make any difference. (HowTos)

enable broadband 3G connection from desktop iconview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hello, I am able to configure a working 3G connection but I do not want it to be enabled at startup. I want it "on-demand" and I need that it is easy for non-skilled persons, that is double-clicking a desktop icon. So I think I have to call a script or something else but I do not know the command. Thanks. (HowTos)
