DMRAID Issue + TrueCrypt Issue - May Not Be Ubuntu Specificview story

How to install jpegrescan on Centos 6?view story

http://stackoverflow.com – Id like to use jpegrescan on my Centos 6 linux install, both on its own and as part of Picopt. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it work with either. The Picopt instructions just vaguely say it needs to be "in path" though I'm not sure where that is? (HowTos)

Start Netbeans as super user as a shortcut with password embeddedview story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – For my work purposes, I need to start netbeans in super user mode. I find it quite irritating to have to type this : su then enter the password ./netbeans everytime I want to start netbeans. How can I avoid doing this? As in, do a 1-click on the desktop in Centos to start netbeans as a super user. Forgive me if this is a really easy question, quite noob to linux. Thanks! (HowTos)

Centos & USB diskview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I just started using CentOS 6 three days ago. I'm baffled by a lot of things, but the most recent is this: I'm was able to plug 'n play my USB flash drive (original formatting, straight out of the package, and brand new, but with some files on it that I created in both OS's) in Windows Vista (Home, SP2, I'm on a dual boot PC) until a couple hours ago.
