[64 bit] BCM4313 - 2 drivers installed, how to choose which is used?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I've got a BCM4313 in this Lenovo G580, and through various things I've got two drivers installed. wl and bcma. The problem is bcma is terrible, the connection is slow and frequently drops. Using wl I have a great connection. However, the drivers load randomly, so sometimes bcma loads at boot, sometimes bcma, and I have no idea what I can do to stop bcma loading. (Hardware)

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS stopped detecting BCM4312 on DELL E6500view story

http://askubuntu.com – I have been using wireless seamlessly since I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I did a botched attempt of installing Octave 3.6, at that time I was connected via Ethernet. I postponed that installation till later, but when I went home and tried to connect to a wireless network realized that Ubuntu is not detecting the wireless adaptor..the blue light did not come up even after toggling hardware key. https://bbs.archlinux.org – If you have, check PKGBUILD for broadcom-wl and adjust it for kernel you currently have, which would be 3.7-ARCH.Updating the PKGBUILD let makepkg finish successfully. Thanks! Csosa https://bbs.archlinux.org/profile.php?id=27651 2012-12-31T04:02:36Z (HowTos)
