[ubuntu] Wireless Issuesview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I ramble (if you've read any of my other help threads), so I'll keep this short. OS - 12.04 Model - Linksys WMP300N Proven to work - Sorta. Firmware release by Broadcom is out, but is pretty poor. Chipset - US. Brcm4321 chipset Problem - Horrible download speeds ( <400KB/s. Should be 2-4MB/s). Webpages take forever to load. Connection will drop under 3/4 bar conditions. (Hardware)

Previously, I had used the instructions located here to compile and it worked flawlessly. Now, I cannot get the driver to compile. Admittedly the errors look like something I should be able to simply fix, however, I have not found a way to get it to work for me yet. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Dual boot laptop with wifi problemview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – but only on Ubuntu. I have a Compaq Presario set up as dual boot with Windows XP and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. VDSL modem is upstairs and by itself doesn't have much signal when I try to use the laptop downstairs so have added a Belkin N300 wireless router to provide a good signal in the sitting room. Booting into XP the wifi works perfectly and the little blue wireless switch/light is nicely alight. (Hardware)
