Best AMD driver version for R9 290view story

http://hardforum.com – I ordered the Gigabyte R9 290 that was on sale at Newegg earlier in the week. It arrived last night, so I installed it and started in on some Max Payne 3 (yes, my games backlog is that far behind thanks to Amazon/Steam). The driver that Gigabyte recommends for the card was version 13.11. I am running Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit on the PC. (Hardware)

The problem is that Ubuntu won't suspend or hibernate. If I select "standby" from the shutdown menu the screen turns dark but the computer does not turn off. (Hardware)

Cursor disappears frequentlyview story

http://crunchbang.org – Hi,Mouse cursor disappears or keep blinking for no good reason. It happens frequently. I'm using HP ProBook 450 G1 with ATI Radeon HD 8750 2GB graphics card. I think the problem persists for my graphics card. How to solve it?For the record, I didn't face this problem with another laptop. That one didn't have any external/proprietary graphics card. Everything worked well on that one. (HowTos)

http://forums.anandtech.com – Hello people of the internet! How's all of you dandy people doing? This'll be my first post on this forum, so I would ask for you to go easy on me. I need some lube first before going any further... :awe: Recently I've started becoming active on ArmA 3 and have noticed some rather disappointing things. I, like so many others do too, have bad FPS on the game. (Hardware)
