http://askubuntu.com – after Upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10 I can't work with dual monitors. The desktop is freezing after a short while when I attache the second Monitor. I can use the touchpad, but the desktop isn't reacting anymore. Sometimes I can switch with Ctr-Alt-F1 to terminal-mode, but i can't restart lightdm or something else, just reboot. 12.04 was working perfectly with two monitors. (HowTos)

Every time I suspend my computer, (whether by clicking suspend or by closing the lid) it goes to a black screen (with the backlight on) but there is no way to wake it up. (HowTos)
