[Archlinux]My window manager seems to have broke (xfce)view story

http://linuxfloat.org – My window manager seems to have broke (xfce). I don't see windows around borders, the mouse doesn't display, and i cannot open the "window manager" settings from the menu (the xorg text tty says my window manager is unknown). The panel still loads but doesn't display my desktops correctly (only shows 1, i have 2). How can i find out why this might have happened? (HowTos)

Grub Error 17 After Installationview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Originally, I had sdb1 at /home/flashdrive, sdb2 at /, and sdb3 was swap.  I put the FAT32 partition first because otherwise Windows won't recognize it as far as I can tell.  Installing /boot on sdb1 would, as far as I know, not allow me to access any other partitions besides that on Windows (unless someone knows another way).  Regardless, I just tried installing a 20mb /boot p (HowTos)

Password Management Solutions - Looking for software that'll met my goview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I would like to use different random passwords for the various accounts I have. However, as I won't always have my computer there will be times were I need to retrieve a user/pass remotely (via ssh).To start this process, I've been playing around with gnome-keyring and firefox-gnome-keyring. I can store all my login credentials for websites in a encrypted password protected keyring. (HowTos)

Logging out of a PHP script with digest authenticationview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – This has come up all the time, and I feel like I'm just getting over the hunch of learning digest auth.  The problem is that the HTTP specifications have no definitive way to "log out" a user.  If you give the user a 401 and force them to log in again, cached credentials will permit them to log in without seeing another login prompt.  What's your method for forci (HowTos)

http://chakra-project.org – Hi, I hit this issue, and yes the issue is related to the archlinux bug.You have 2 possibilities : either symlink udevadm to the old location, or set the correct path in cups.service (which once modified you place into /etc/systemd/system). I chose the symlink path, and have a fully funcional cups again.Serafean (HowTos)
