/home partition corrupts randomlyview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Also, only one entry should be "0 1". home should be "0 2".SMART isn't everything. I only suggested it because it certainly can be helpful. Last year, it gave me time to get everything off my drive before it finally died. However, I would be wary of gui tools. I have no experience with gsmartcontrol and it looks quite nice. (HowTos)

Invisible popup menus using cinnamon and muffin.view story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – After a recent update of muffin-git*, popup (mostly right-click) menus in all applications have become invisible - if I click where I think the popup menu is supposed to be, a random action occurs (as I don't know which command is being clicked).  Firefox compact menu uses a popup so this does not display either.  Popup menus only work in Java applications (e.g., libre-office).Norma (HowTos)

The shared partition is included in my fstab and is automatically mounted at boot. Recently I noticed something rather strange : the contents of one of my picture folders has vanished. (HowTos)

Xen "Hotplug scripts not working" Errorview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Hi,I also had hotplug related problem with Xen on Arch. You should verify that there are two Xen scripts in /etc/udev/rules.d as opposed to a script in /etc/hotplug.When compiling Xen from source, a check is done for udev, and if it fails, it is assumed that hotplug is used instead. On Arch this check can fail even though udev is installed. (HowTos)
