The problem with the patch is that the original patch I've in my PC contains tabs, that were converted into spaces when I pasted it in the message. Hence the different md5sum and the abortive makepkg, that should have been caused by a failure to apply the patch. My bad, I didn't notice the tabs. (HowTos)

Email this pagehttps://bbs.archlinux.org – linux-3.3.1-1 made it to core about a day ago. Now I can get to the login screen without noefi and no patches. Still no keyboard functionality though.The strangest thing is that the keyboard works with the LiveCD (ArchBoot in EFI mode). (HowTos)
