Chromium memory leak?view story

If I go to http://www.maps.google.com and enable the satellite view, Chromium calls a program called exe (I guess is /proc/self/exe, which is a soft link to /bin/bash) that eats 50% my ram and slowly fill all swap. I have installed Trisquel Mini 4.0.1 Taranis into an old computer: AMD Atholon Processor, 899 Mhz 192MB RAM, 20 GB HD. It seemed to work better than than the previous WinXp. At least I'm able to do more than one thing at a time! However, I do have problems with Midori Browser. It goes TOO slow and doesn't seem to cope with the system... (HowTos)

I've been encouraging others to do so, also, and.just got my girlfriend to install Linux Mint 9 (based off Ubuntu 10.04) on her new netbook. Unfortunately, I'm having some trouble getting the wireless to work. That is, the wireless was working for a while, but recently stopped and I can't figure out why (or how to fix it).
