http://ubuntuforums.org – I've posted this about a dozen different ways, but now I have new stuff to give making me start over again with a fresh clean thread. I own a HP G60 laptop with an very useful HDMI connection. I usually download movies from my main tower PC and play them from the laptop onto my 42" plasma through the HDMI connection. (Hardware)
http://ubuntuforums.org – Just installed OSS and alsa drivers to get vgetty working. Now I have no sound card. The Nvidia AC97 onboard sound is not recognised. The 'configure devices' part of volume control, sound preferences is empty. I have re installed all of alsa. (Hardware)
http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello folks, No sound input is working on this machine. Output is fine and of good quality. AMD64 bit processor. (Hardware)

http://forums.opensuse.org – I own an HP Pavilion dv8000 laptop on which I run openSUSE 11.2. The internal wireless LAN card is a Broadcom 4318 [Air Force One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02). Since I installed 11.2, the blue light above my wireless button won't turn on. http://forums.opensuse.org – I recently put a brand new desktop system together in order to get better performance with some of the FPS games I like to play, as my trusty old HP laptop with it's rather low-end Nvidia 8400m gs card just couldn't handle it. Of course the first thing I did was install openSUSE 11.2 onto the nice clean 500 gig hard disk. (Distributions)
http://www.linuxquestions.org – There's a popping sound when im on battery power. This has never happened it's concievably possible i have upgraded since the last time ive used the battery.. (HowTos)

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi guys, I'm not sure im posting this in the right place or not. Im a world of warcraft player and i need to use Mangler in place of vent. I installed Mangler and one of its requirements was pulse-audio. I installed pulse-audio everything worked great except i couldn't get sound out of wow if i started mangler first and vice-versa. I then found a version of Mangler that worked with alsa. (Distributions)
