[ubuntu] General question about Crouton installation.view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I am a total newb to Ubuntu Linux, but I am liking it so far. Like many, my main reason for giving it a try is that I got an Acer C7 Chromebook that I wanted to be able to use offline programs with. I have tried both ChrUbuntu and Crouton with it, and right now I am using Crouton with XFCE. I would like to know if anyone knows where and how Crouton is installed exactly? (Hardware)

http://askubuntu.com – I don't know what causes it since I just installed Ubuntu on my laptop. Here is the issue. Ubuntu boots normally, so I can use firefox and such. However, after 2-3 minutes, laptop shuts down. (I see Ubuntu logo for 1 second before shutdown.) Fans are usually working loud. GPU drivers (5470) doesn't seem to be installed. I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-6444, and this has been happening since I installed Ubuntu a couple days ago. (Hardware)

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hello, I recently made the jump to Fedora properly. I've used it on an off for ages, and decided to settle on it for my business/work OS. However I've stumbled into a couple of problems. I own a Lenovo B570e, which seems to be running Fedora awkwardly: Video: The B570e has switchable graphics (Intel shared and NVIDIA 410M dedicated).
