So when I get a new email, text, etc, my phone makes a notification sound, but nothing lights up. I'm wondering if there's any way to have the front key lights, or the screen light up when I get a new email, text, etc.
Hi, I have the Zte Merit z990g and every since I bought it, its constantly "rebooting" on its own constantly. I was hoping that someone could possibly explain why its doing that and how can I get this issue resolved.....or is that something that can be resolved even?
Aaaaa... My 'droid has gone insane! In the upper left corner of the actual phone, not the screen, there's a constant red f'n blinker - it prob should blink only when someone's calling you, or that's the only time when I've seen it blink at me with actual purpose. I'm not talking about the charging blinker, but in the one in the very very far left upper corner.
Just updated Google voice, with the new feature to view visual voicemails in the missed call log selected I don't get notified via sound, vibrate, or pulse light. All notifications are checked off in the Google voice settings, don't notice any settings for notification in the dialer/phone. All notifications work fine when Voicemail dispay is unchecked in the Google voice settings.
I just got a new galaxy S3 on Verizon. I am able to get audible notification for texts ( beeps every two minutes).. Di this through settings menu. I also can get notifications for e-mail by opening my e-mail and then pressing menu button on bottom and going to settings. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get notified of a missed call or voicemail.
Running 12.04 LTS. This is extremely annoying and makes me want to try another flavor of linux. Yes, this little inconvenience is THAT annoying to me. Most of the time the launcher will appear nice and easy as soon as I mouse over the upper left corner, but many times, the left edge of the screen will get a little darker, but the launcher will not appear.
Ok, I bought this zte merit z990g from Net10 back in Feb (runs on at&t towers)
I was sent a text yestetday telling me to follow the link to update my browser, yet when i did, nothing happened. Also, Im needing to know can I change the gingerbread stock to a different one, or will that mess my phone up? If so, how to I go about that?
Hey there. I tried searching for this and am coming up short so looking for help.
I use Google Voice for my voicemail and have been for the last several years. All of a sudden a few days ago the stock notification for voicemail started popping up on my phone. I can temporarily remove it by going to app settings > voicemail then either clear data or force close but it comes right back up.
