But I'm not doing it as a complaint, rather as an observation and also my story on how I haven't GIVEN UP on Linux, but rather just rewritten my own personal use-case for it. I'd love to hear other stories. When I first really jumped into Linux, I was totally hooked (I had also recently worked for Microsoft at the time). I immediately installed in on all my machines (five or six at any given time); notebooks, desktops, servers. Usually in dual-boot scenarios. But then I spent months getting them to work "right".
