can somebody please refresh my memory?
There is a command to create a txt file that lists the yast install history. The rpm installs through yast are listed by date
on 12/04/2009 – Made popular on 12/04/2009
I wanted to create a new virtual machine (xen) using yast as done on another machine before...
But here I can change any setting because when clicking on the ok/apply button for the new setting I only receive an error message that my setup is wrong.
When i open yast in gtk searching for gnome-web-photo for example, select the
dependencies section of this package and than click one of the linked files the in gtk2 yast2 softwaretool it gets blacked out and freezes.
openSUSE 11.2 Fresh install from a zeroed out hard drive; All updates applied. Boot level 3. SAMBA set to run at levels 3 and 5.
I am not able to see shares or even my SUSE machine from other computers unless I first startx and go into the YaST Control Center and go through the motions of toggling the enabled/disabled status of each of my shares.
i tried installing several programs from the repositories through Yast, the installation continues as usual, then at the end Yast disappears and the program is not showing anywhere. i checked again in Yast and it shows the program is installed, removed it and installed it again still the same. i was trying to install vlan, please help
