yast gtk softwaretool crashes on opensuse 11.3

Dear all, I'm trying to establish NFS mounts for my SOHO NAS 500 as I used to with other versions of OpenSuse. I go to Yast, I find my SOHO server and my exported directory. I put rw for options and Add it to the list. When I exit I get the following from Yast in a pop up: YaST got signal 11 at YCP file Service.ycp:77

I have problems with running Yast2 under Gnome when I connect via VNC to the computer. The first 20-30 times it worked, but then it simply stopped to work. When switching to another VNC-Server (instead of :1 to :2) it works again for approx. 20-30 times. The behaviour is very much similar to the one described here:

when i go through the menu it doesn't launch. when i type yast2 in the console prompt it launches but everything i click inside of it doesn't work. I get no errors either when i click on yast or the icon's within yast. worst of all it still does it even after a rebooted

any thoughts?

I've tested the following on several machines (From Atom330 up to an e235 IBM Server) under 11.2:

The last Update "Yast2-ncurses" destroys the "online Update" and the Software Management" within YaST, if YaST is used on a shell (not on KDE).

I have an installation of openSUSE 11.4 which was installed in German.
