Anyone know why the various email server settings for Yahoo have "samsung" in the address?
I'm more interested in the Outgoing settings (since that doesn't always seem to work - I've had something unsent in my Outbox for a couple days now).
samsung.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Out of curiosity why don't we use just a generic yahoo address?
Also, this could be completely unrelated - anyo
I have been essentially concentrating on using F19.rc4.
One of the things I do is setup evolution to use imap with my yahoo.com account.
With previous versions of Evolution, I was able to create, edit or delete a Email address.
With Yahoo.com this is more important, as when I change my password in Yahoo.com, I need to change the password in evolution.
Hi, I got the S3 Friday (liked it better than i5, after 3 i's) & set up my emails including yahoo. The yahoo was working & today I saw a notification of email receipt and swiped it away from the notifications (without reading that yahoo email). Later on I went to look at yahoo mail but the account is no longer shown in the email app account list.
I am configuring ~/.msmtprc as below :--

And using following command as below :--

I am able to send mail using yahoo account.

I know Yahoo declined the recent Microsoft deal but what if Microsoft would sweeten the deal and yahoo excepts it, would the Yahoo brand die? I mean look Yahoo has a line-up of dedicated services like mail, messenger and now even Flickr with a host of users and with a merger how would they keep the loyal fanbase?
I've been having constant problems with yahoo mail and the stock email app that comes with the note. It doesn't seem to update half the time and then keeps giving wrong password errors then seems to work. I think I'm through with yahoo and don't want to use their ad based app.
So I installed Empathy IM, telepathy-salut, and telepathy-butterfly. It lets me log on, but I can't message other friends on WLM. It lets me message them who have Yahoo! from it, but not here. At least, it seems like it. That is the first problem. (I have a friend who has Yahoo!
